Data Action Mini Grants Back to ALL Mini Grants Social Service Based After School Programs Juvenile Detention Based Social Workers Collective/HEA - awarded funds to send social workers from all 7 school districts to the Indiana School Social Workers Association conference. Pride Academy - was awarded funds to start a new program to promote positive behaviors, called Cub Cash Marketplace. Students earn 'Cub Cash' for good deeds and classwork completion. Pride Academy is part of Elkhart Community Schools. St. John's Catholic School - received funding to train 2 teachers in Tools for the Mind, an evidence based curriculum for pre-k and Kindergartners. HEA - received funding to provide Classroom 180 to social workers. Concord Community Schools - received funding to train administrators and counselors in Trauma Informed Care strategies. Elkhart School Social Workers staff appreciation grant. Baugo Intermediate - received funding to support the Grief Bag program to help students process loss of loved ones. Concord West Side Elementary School - was awarded funds to create a multipurpose room to house clothing, food, and Triple P sessions. Fairfield Community Schools - awarded funding to support the Elkhart County Social Workers Collaborative. Pierre Moran Middle School - received funding to implement the 1 Book 1 School reading program for their students. Goshen High School - received funding to create a Teacher ReSet Area. This is a space for self-regulation and coping skill strategy development for teachers and staff. Jimtown High School - awarded funds to assist the Hope Squad promote suicide prevention strategies and support groups. Goshen High School - was awarded a mini grant to design and implement the ReSet Area, a self-regulation and coping station for students. School Without Walls - received funding to implement their mentorship program called I AM WE (Woman Enough) for girls. School Without Walls is part of Elkhart Community Schools. Bristol Elementary School - was awarded funding to implement Trauma Informed Kits for students. These kits will help student to process emotions and develop self-regulation strategies. Model Elementary School - received funding to help create calming corners in teachers classrooms. Calming corners are a trauma informed strategy to help with self-regulation and developing coping skills.
