Bashor's new Day Program creates opportunities for struggling youth

Bashor Children’s Home has been doing some great work to strengthen youth supports in the community. In 2022 Bashor expanded their efforts in the Day Reporting Program with a Mini Grant that focused on Trust Based Relational Intervention, an evidence based intervention that helps children and their families build strong connections.

Bashor Children’s Home and Alternative School is expanding its offerings as it seeks to fill another need in the community while also celebrating its 100th anniversary.

The Day Reporting program, which runs under a service standard developed by the Department of Child Services, allows students to attend an alternative education at Bashor for up to six months while remaining with their families.
